Looking back on the week that was
There was alot of work put into the final bit of the quarter toward this project below are the final set ups of shot 01, 02, 03, and 05. All of these were put together with a group effort. I helped place soldiers and debris and weaponary. Since many of our assets came from different scenes or objects much of the shader network had to be recconnected. I also did my part to work directly with the renderfarm to assist Jesse with the work of rendering 16GB of data for our shots. Below are stills from multiple scenes we had set up.









As for the final output I'll let the images found our site and the video speak for itself I think were are all happy this project concluded successfully.

Rough X-M8 Carbine
This was my first quick texture map, there are some obvious stretching issues, but it shows promise. I feel like fixing these issues won't be too difficult. I will also however need to change the base colors to be more brown and beige colored rather than simply straight black. Below is the still of the progress so far.

Arming Soldier Pt1
I have already converted a model I already had into the partial model we needed as a handgun for the soldiers to be placed in holsters. Meanwhile to help assess the progress as a team I started to continue the X-M8 carbine Bryan, had started much eariler in the quarter. I completed to model about an hour or two again but now I must begin the task of UVing and creating texture maps where possible. Anyways here are stills of the progress.
